The hottest week in fashion is just around the corner. From 22-28 August, NZ Fashion Week returns for its 16th year. The extravaganza will showcase designers’ Autumn/Winter 2017 collections and you could be part of the action!
NZ Fashion Weekend rounds up the week in stellar form, opening it up to the public to attend exciting shows and get their hands on goodies in the Designer Pop-Up Sale. We’ve picked some of our favourites over the packed weekend, including Smashbox, Federation, Miss FQ and more…
Smashbox VIP Seminar
Kick your Saturday morning off right, by joining Smashbox’s Pro Make-up Artist Sam Hart and The Edge’s Megan as MC for this special seminar. Showcasing all of the trends and techniques, the latest inspirations and the new collections, the Smashbox Pro Team will have you on the edge of your seat. Learn all of the step-by-step application techniques to get you catwalk ready!
2016 will see the debut for Miss FQ, following the successful annual Fashion Quarterly show. The exciting showcase includes Coop (from Treslie Cooper), IAM (from Andrea Moore), Lonely, Ruby and Stolen Girlfriends Club.
YMCA’s Walk The Line
Bouncing off last year’s successful show, YMCA Auckland is once again presenting Walk The Line, a fashion showcase that gives young designers the opportunity to present their amazing garments. Don’t miss out on supporting this year’s up-and-coming design kings and queens!
A Kiwi favourite, Federation will take to the runway with its Spring/Summer ’16 collection! Get the first look at the collection before it rolls out. This streetwear show won’t disappoint.
For the first time ever, Russell will showcase its Athletic range to eager fashionistas straight from the fields of varsity colleges in America. Take in the sights of the Summer ’16 range with an exclusive glimpse into Winter ’17’s collection – witness the new sport luxe style with Russell Athletic.
This special collection will make you drool over the summer wear from Billabong, Emma Ford, Moontide, Piha Swimwear and Tigerlily. There will be something for everyone, with both men’s and women’s collections showcased from Oceania’s swimwear and surf labels.
