Fazerdaze – Little Uneasy Music Video

Fazerdaze went and dropped a music video for her song Little Uneasy and dates for a big UK tour as well. The video is stunning in its simplicity and definitely worth a watch. I love what she says about the song, something I’m sure we can all relate to. “I wrote the song about trying to be ok with uncertainty, and being kind to yourself in those times while you figure out what the heck you’re even doing.”

Miller – Shoot Me In The Heart

I’m not sure how I got this far along in life without hearing of this local singer-songwriter. I headed along to his EP release show and was blown away. He has the most pure, haunting vocals and did killer covers of Beyonce and Bruce Springsteen. Grab the album on Bandcamp or give it a listen on Spotify or SoundCloud.

Adele – Send My Love (To Your New Lover) Music Video

A new music video from Adele – honestly, not what I’d expect from someone with presumably a big budget. The editing makes it a little interesting but I won’t be dying to watch it again anytime soon. Apparently it’s all symbolic. The idea of ghosts is portrayed through the layering of those ghosts of past-Adele around her creating a haunting visual speaking to the song in which she sings about letting go of all our ghosts.

Selena Gomez – Revival Tour

For the first time (what took her so long!?) Selena will be gracing our shores. She’s headlining a single show in Auckland on August 13th as part of her Revival Tour. For complete tour and ticketing details including VIP Packages, visit: livenation.co.nz.

Jocee Tuck – Mt Dora

Jocee Tuck released her debut album Mt. Dora last week. I went along to her release show and it was glorious! She had a band of 13 playing alongside her that really brought her dreamy folk songs to life. It might take a few listens to warm to but the record is a good one! Highlights for me were Seven Years, Oh Jerusalem! and Shepherds Woes.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra – First World Problem

UMO dropped a new song out of the blue, accompanied by artwork by one of my favs Henrietta Harris.

Yoko-Zuna – Luminols

Yoko-Zuna today release Luminols. It’s just dropped so I haven’t had a chance to give it a listen but I’m pretty sure it’ll be great.
