Estere and Raiza Biza collaborate on Tokoloshe
This is the first time that Estere has put her insane production talents to work for another artist, and it’s hard to think of a more deserving recipient of this privilege than Raiza Biza. The Rwandan/Kiwi hybrid has been steadily making waves in NZ hip-hop circles since ages ago, and the duo must be getting along pretty well considering they were both recently touring with The Adults too. Tokoloshe is a seedy ordeal that speaks out about fear/anxiety, using an infamous figure in cross-continental African folklore, the Tokoloshe, as a metaphor for their presence.

Jam of the Week
Have you ever wondered what jazz might sound if it was filtered through the tools of an electronic music aficionado? Well that’s more or less Squarepusher’s M.O. so there’s really no better place to start than here- unless you were to start at the beginning of Hard Normal Daddy and finish at the end, but here’s a taster anyway.
